Organizing

Places & events

Turn the location and time data you already have into trips, events, and places — with no third-party map calls.

Tessera turns the location and time metadata your library already carries into browsable places and events. You can navigate by where and when without any map provider tracking your queries.

Clustering by location and time

Assets with location data are clustered into places; assets close in time and space are grouped into trips and moments. The result is a structure you can browse — “this trip,” “this place” — instead of a flat, undated stream.

No third-party map calls

Place and event clustering runs locally on the metadata already embedded in your files. Tessera does not call a third-party map or geocoding service for this, so your locations are not sent anywhere.

Places and events are facets like any other. Combine a place with a person, a date range, or a semantic query to narrow a large library to exactly the moment you are looking for.
